Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using the InQik GBP Inspector Chrome Extension (“the Extension”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

The Extension is a free browser tool that reads publicly visible data on Google Maps business listing pages and displays analysis, scores, and insights in a browser side panel. It is provided as-is for informational purposes only.

3. No Guarantee of Accuracy

The Extension parses data from Google Maps pages as they are rendered in your browser. Google may change its page structure at any time, which may cause the Extension to display incomplete or inaccurate information. Scores and analysis are estimates based on visible data and should not be treated as definitive business advice.

InQik makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any data displayed by the Extension.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Extension only for lawful purposes. You will not:

• Use the Extension to scrape, store, or redistribute data from Google Maps at scale
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the Extension code
• Use the Extension in any way that violates Google's Terms of Service
• Misrepresent the Extension's output as official Google data or endorsed metrics
• Use the Extension to engage in competitive harm, harassment, or any illegal activity

5. Intellectual Property

The Extension, including its code, design, branding, and documentation, is the property of InQik. The InQik name, logo, and “GBP Inspector” are trademarks of InQik. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from the Extension without written permission.

6. Third-Party Services

The Extension reads data from Google Maps, which is a service of Google LLC. InQik is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. Google Maps data is subject to Google's own Terms of Service. The Extension does not use any Google API for its core functionality.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, InQik shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Extension, including but not limited to loss of data, business interruption, or lost profits.

InQik's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Extension, which is zero (0) for the free version.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Termination

InQik may discontinue the Extension or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. You may uninstall the Extension at any time through Chrome's extension management page (chrome://extensions). Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive shall remain in effect.

10. Updates

The Extension may be updated automatically through the Chrome Web Store. Updates may change functionality, features, or these Terms. Continued use of the Extension after an update constitutes acceptance of any changes.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of IN. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Udupi, KA, IN.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
