Apple Business Profile Managed End-to-End
Complete Apple Business profile management across Apple Maps, Siri, Spotlight, Mail, and Wallet. Place card setup, Showcases, photo updates, custom actions, location insights, branded Caller ID, place card health monitoring, and monthly reports. Most agencies do not manage Apple. We do.
What is Apple Business?
Apple Business (formerly Apple Business Connect) is Apple's platform for businesses to manage how they appear across Apple Maps, Siri, Spotlight, Apple Mail, Apple Wallet, and Apple's broader ecosystem. Apple consolidated its business platforms on April 14, 2026, merging Apple Business Connect, Apple Business Manager, and Apple Business Essentials into a single unified system at business.apple.com.
Through Apple Business, you claim a place card, set hours and categories, upload photos, publish Showcases (Apple's promotional posts), configure custom actions like Order or Reserve, set up branded Caller ID, and review location insights. Apple Maps Ads (launching Summer 2026 in the US and Canada) will run from the same dashboard.
Most local businesses have never claimed their Apple Business profile. That is the opportunity. Apple Maps drives roughly 25% of US navigation app usage and the user base skews iPhone-affluent, which is the strongest demographic for premium service categories. The businesses that claim and optimize today have first-mover advantage when Apple Maps Ads goes live.
Everything your Apple Business profile needs
Our team handles all of this every month. You do not log in. You do not learn the platform. You get a clear monthly report covering both Google and Apple.
Place Card Setup and Optimization
Complete setup and optimization of your Apple Maps place card. Business name, address, phone, hours, primary and secondary categories, services, and attributes. Place card scores 100% before ongoing management starts.
Apple Showcases
Apple's equivalent of Google Posts. Promotional cards that appear on your place card, in Spotlight search, and across Apple surfaces. Showcases expire after 30 days, so we schedule and refresh them as part of monthly management.
Photo Updates with Approval Tracking
Category-appropriate photos uploaded monthly: interior, exterior, team, products. We track Apple's 72-hour photo approval window and flag any rejections immediately so we can re-upload before customers see a gap.
Custom Actions Configuration
Apple Business supports custom actions like Order, Reserve, Book, Call, and Get Directions directly from your place card. We configure these to match your business model and connect them to the right systems.
Hours, Categories, Location Insights
Hours kept accurate including holiday and special hours. Categories optimized to match what customers actually search for. Apple Business location insights reviewed monthly to inform strategy.
Branded Caller ID
When customers call your business from an iPhone, your business name and logo appear instead of just a number. We configure branded Caller ID through Apple Business so incoming calls feel professional from the first ring.
Place Card Drift Monitoring
Apple stores your business data across Maps, Siri, Wallet, Spotlight, and Apple Mail. We monitor weekly for drift: stale hours, wrong addresses, misattributed photos. Caught and corrected before it spreads across the ecosystem.
Apple Maps Ads Readiness
Apple Maps Ads launches Summer 2026 in the US and Canada. We have your place card set up and your Apple Ads agency relationship ready so you can launch sponsored placements on day one when ads go live. Local Ads is a separate engagement.
Apple Native Review Response (Coming)
Apple does not have native business-responseable text reviews yet. When Apple ships them (expected within 12-18 months), we add review response to your engagement at no extra cost. Pre-built workflow ready to flip live the day Apple announces.
Monthly Performance Report
A clear monthly report covering Apple place card views, taps on actions, Showcases run, photos updated, and place card health. Combined with your Google report into a single one-page email on the 1st of every month.
The Apple Maps opportunity
Apple Maps is bigger than people realize, growing fast, and almost no agencies are serving it. The businesses that claim and optimize today are first in line when Apple ships native reviews and Apple Maps Ads.

What you should know about Apple Business management
Apple Business is a younger, more curated platform than Google. The friction is real. The friction is also part of why the opportunity exists for early movers.
No Apple SMB API yet
All Apple management is manual via business.apple.com. We log in as Company Manager on your behalf and do the work. Apple's programmatic API is enterprise-tier only (25+ same-brand-locations).
Photo approval up to 72 hours
Apple reviews each uploaded photo before publishing. We track the approval window and flag rejections immediately. Set this expectation during onboarding.
Showcases expire in 30 days
Unlike Google Posts which can sit indefinitely, Apple Showcases auto-expire after 30 days. We schedule renewals before each Showcase ages out.
Apple verification can take 5 days
Initial place card verification with Apple can take up to 5 business days. Plan onboarding accordingly.
Common questions about Apple Business Profile management
What is Apple Business?
Apple Business (formerly Apple Business Connect) is Apple's platform for businesses to manage how they appear across Apple Maps, Siri, Spotlight, Apple Mail, Apple Wallet, and Apple's broader ecosystem. Apple consolidated its business platforms on April 14, 2026, merging Apple Business Connect, Apple Business Manager, and Apple Business Essentials into a single unified system at business.apple.com. Businesses claim a place card, set hours and categories, upload photos, run Showcases, configure custom actions like Order or Reserve, and (when launched in Summer 2026) buy Apple Maps Ads.
Why should I claim my Apple Business profile?
Apple Maps drives roughly 25% of US navigation app usage. The user base skews iPhone-affluent which is the strongest demographic for premium service categories. Apple Maps usage is growing approximately 35% year over year in major iOS-heavy markets. And most local businesses have not even claimed their Apple place card, which means competitors who claim and optimize are first in line for that audience. With Apple Maps Ads launching Summer 2026, the businesses with claimed and optimized profiles will have first-mover advantage.
Does Apple Business have reviews?
Apple has a thumbs-up/thumbs-down attribute rating system in Apple Maps but no native business-responseable text reviews yet. The text reviews currently shown on Apple Maps come from third-party sources. Apple is widely expected to launch native text reviews within 12-18 months, likely at WWDC 2026 in June or alongside iOS 27 in September. When that ships, InQik adds Apple native review response to existing client engagements at no additional cost.
What is the difference between Apple Business and Apple Business Connect?
On April 14, 2026, Apple merged three previously separate platforms (Apple Business Connect, Apple Business Manager, and Apple Business Essentials) into a single unified platform called Apple Business at business.apple.com. The capabilities that were previously inside Apple Business Connect (managing your Apple Maps place card, Showcases, custom actions, photos) are now part of Apple Business. The terminology has changed but the underlying capabilities remain. All claimed listings, photos, and place card data migrated automatically.
How does InQik manage my Apple Business profile?
There is no Apple SMB API yet, so all Apple management is done manually through the Apple Business dashboard at business.apple.com. During onboarding, you either claim your Apple Business profile yourself or we claim it on your behalf with your Apple ID and your written consent. Once claimed, you add our team email as a Company Manager via the Share Access feature, which gives our team ongoing access without needing your Apple ID again. We then handle place card optimization, Showcases (Apple's promotional posts that expire after 30 days), photo updates with monitoring of the 72-hour Apple approval window, custom actions configuration, location insights review, and monthly reporting.
What are Apple Showcases?
Apple Showcases are the Apple Business equivalent of Google Posts. They are time-limited promotional cards that appear on your Apple Maps place card, in Spotlight search results, and in other Apple surfaces. Showcases are perfect for promotions, events, new products, or seasonal offers. They expire after 30 days, so they need to be refreshed regularly. We schedule and publish Showcases as part of monthly management.
Can you do Apple Maps Ads?
Yes. Apple Maps Ads launches Summer 2026 in the US and Canada as a sponsored-placement feature inside Apple Maps. We offer Apple Maps Ads management as part of our Local Ads service line, which is a separate engagement priced as a percentage of your ad spend (15-20% with a $200/month floor, plus a one-time setup fee). Local Ads is not bundled into the standard monthly profile management fee.
Do you also manage Google Business Profile?
Yes. Every InQik engagement includes both Google Business Profile management and Apple Business profile management at one flat monthly fee. We do not charge per platform.
